Education Attainment Levels

Approximately one-third of Los Angeles County residents currently have a bachelor’s degree or higher. The Public Policy Institute of California (PPIC) expects 41% of jobs in California will require a bachelor’s degree by 2025. The County should expect to increase the number of college graduates by about 10% to meet the estimated demand.
