As Biocom continues to expand its life science industry advocacy and support in LA County, it has tapped LAEDC CEO, Bill Allen, along with 10 other leaders to serve as Biocom’s L.A. Advisory Board, to help inform the priorities and focus of Biocom’s support for the bioscience and life science industry cluster in Los Angeles County.

Biocom celebrated the one-year anniversary of its L.A. offices this past spring, after 20+ years of successfully fostering the growth of San Diego’s bioscience corridor.  Biocom has already made a significant positive impact for local L.A. bioscience businesses, through support of companies, public policy advocacy, and efforts to energize the financing and entrepreneurial networks in the region.  Both LAEDC and Biocom are committed to fostering the growth of well-paying jobs in this promising industry cluster, and LAEDC is pleased that Bill Allen will be able to support our mutual goals in his role on the Advisory Board.
